Ben began Muay Thai in 2001 under Ajahn Suchart at Siam Number 1 gym in Toronto. He fought amateur and professionally in Canada Thailand and USA.

He received his Kru in 2008 and began teaching. He received his Kru Yai in 2015 and is certified by the board of Boxing Sports Authority/ Thailand Ministry of Tourism and Sport in Thailand and the Nak Hanomtom Association.
