What is Muay Thai?
Muay Thai is an ancient martial art originating from Thailand, dating back to the 16th century. Also known as “The Art of Eight Limbs,” Muay Thai combines the use of fists, feet, knees, and elbows to create a powerful and efficient fighting system. Beyond its physical aspects, Muay Thai is deeply rooted in values such as discipline, respect, and self-control. Training in Muay Thai helps develop important life skills like perseverance, focus, and confidence. In our classes, you can expect to learn a variety of exercises, including:
– Stances and footwork
– Punching and kicking techniques
– Defense and counterattack strategies
– Conditioning drills and bag work
– Clinching and takedown techniques
